Reviews:

This book is a great tale of love, forgiveness, and second chances. The thing I absolutely loved about this book was its ability to show that when we walk with Christ we aren’t held to our past. I think so often we, me included, forget that when we accept God’s grace and forgiveness the past is the past and we’re able to move on. This book does a great job at showing the same themes through different people and different stories.

Finally a Bride is a heart-warming story of redemption, forgiveness, and finally, acceptance, in the face of adversity. It is chock full of lovely well-rounded characters that look to God for direction to reach their individual goals in life. A strong, uplifting plot keeps the reader reading to a satisfying conclusion. The growth of each of the main characters, especially Jack and Noah, is both profound and extremely satisfying. It hits its mark without coming off as preachy. This is a must-read for any fan of inspirational historical romance. Finally a Bride is a real gem.

Vickie McDonough has penned a terrific read. She puts excitement into her prose that keeps the reader enthralled and turning the pages. There is nary a dull moment and her characters come across as believable and humanly faulty.

Finally a Bride is all about second chances. Readers will find life lessons within its pages. I read a previous book in this series, and will be looking for the one that I missed and other books by this talented author.

I would recommend this book to any and everyone because it has a positive and uplifting story with a great outcome. It goes to show that when someone willingly commits their life to Jesus they have to change from their their old ways no matter how major or minor to truly follow him.

Finally a Bride is a charming love story that teaches a valuable lesson in forgiveness and acceptance. It is an inspiring novel of redemption as Jack, Noah and Carly put the mistakes of their past behind them and accept the love that God brings into their lives.
